Resepi mashed potato

Jom buat mashed potato...senang je...sambil bakar-bakar ayam buat bbq tu..kejap je nak buat ni..



2-3 potato (kalo nak sedap pakai US Russet Potato coz its starchy).
I like boiling potato with skins on - very rustic chewah..
Add a little salt in your boiling water.. potong potato kecik2 so senang lembik.

Mash the soft potato (with or without skins on) with butter (50g)+milk bit by bit sampai you get the consistency that you like.

Additionally - sometime i boil potato skali dgn garlic.. ada extra ummph!

Gravy:
50g butter
1-2 tablespoon flour
1 beef cube or chicken cube hancurkan in 1 1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon oyster sauce.

melt butter in pan, add flour and kacau. once dah berbuih add your beef stock and oyster sauce. season to taste with pepper and salt. you can make it extra creamy by adding a tablespoon of milk.

the gravy tu memang i punye standard base for gravy. if you want to make it like an onion gravy, sautee onion dlm separate pan and add to it.


kalau nak buat blackpepper, crushed blackpepper banyak-banyak and add slowly, tambah chillis sos sikit je. 


kalau roast chicken dlm oven, lepas angkat semua chicken tu, pakai balik your roasting pan yg lekat all the chicken juice, add butter and flour and chicken stock water and you have your brown/chicken gravy.
